For our client, a public law corporation in the area of Westschweiz / Wallis, we are looking for reinforcement.

The organization is responsible for the lawful implementation of public infrastructure, environmental, and land-use projects. For the legal department, we are looking for a competent personality as Jurist (m/w/d) 100%.

Your tasks:

• Independent management of public law mandates, primarily in public construction, planning, and environmental law as well as in procurement
• Preparation of legal consultations, expert opinions, responses to appeals, and administrative orders
• Legal support for internal specialist departments as well as representation of the organization in administrative bodies and negotiations
• Participation in the creation of regulations and decrees as well as representation of the institution's interests before courts and authorities

Qualifications

Your profile:

• Swiss legal Master's degree (BLaw/MLaw); a bar admission or relevant further training is an advantage
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Swiss administrative law (acquired at an authority, judicial office, or in a law firm)
• Demonstrable practice in drafting orders/legal briefs as well as profound knowledge in construction and spatial planning law
• Very good language skills in German or French (C2) with practical knowledge of the second official language (at least B1)
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented way of working, high resilience and decisiveness
