Department Head Probation and Execution Services 80 - % # With around 1400 employees, Justizvollzug und Wiedereingliederung (JuWe) is the largest office within the Direktion der Justiz und des Innern and is responsible for the execution of sentences and measures as well as for the implementation of various types of detention. Our employees from around 40 professions support and promote the reintegration of convicted people and commit themselves effectively and progressively to a safe and just society.   The Bewährungs- und Vollzugsdienste (BVD) are one of eight main departments of JuWe. They are responsible for the regulation and management of the execution of custodial sentences and court-ordered measures, as well as for probation assistance and the implementation of learning programs. With around 180 employees, they thus make an important contribution to crime prevention and social integration. As part of the BVD, the Vollzug 2 area is responsible for the implementation and support of outpatient and inpatient measures as well as substitute measures and compliance controls. The focus is on individual support and ensuring compliance with conditions in different measure settings. What you will achieve with us ### • Personnel, professional, and organizational management of the Massnahmenvollzug 2 department with an interdisciplinary team of eight employees • Ensuring a professional, effective, and legally compliant implementation of outpatient and inpatient measures • Further development of structures, processes, and quality management as well as harmonization of working methods • Close cooperation with the legal service, internal specialist departments, and external partners • Active participation in the management of the Bewährungs- und Vollzugsdienste as well as in projects, specialist, and working groups • Representation of the department in complex professional situations, if necessary also towards courts What you bring with you ### • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Law, or a related field (e.g., psychology, criminology) • At least five years of professional experience in a comparable environment, including at least three years in a leadership function • Confident handling of legal issues and the ability to incorporate different perspectives into well-founded decisions; knowledge of administrative law, forensics, addiction work, execution of measures, and/or case management is an advantage • Structured, resilient personality with pronounced social competence and sense of responsibility.
