As a Specialist in Operating Room Technology HF, Specialist in Operating Room Technology HF, or Dipl. Pflegefachfrau / Dipl. Pflegefachmann FA OP, you do not only want to apply your expertise in the operating room, but also pass it on to the next generation of professionals. For a renowned private clinic in Zürich, we are looking for an engaged personality with a workload of 80 to 100% to start immediately or by arrangement. In this versatile function, you combine operative excellence with a responsible vocational trainer role and accompany students during their practical training.

What awaits you in this responsible task

• Scrubbing and assisting during surgical procedures in a chosen surgical specialty group
• Implementation of all preparatory and post-operative measures in the operating room
• Professional preparation and operation of devices, instruments, and sterile goods
• Monitoring and care of patients under local anesthesia
• Documentation of nursing activities including performance recording
• Ensuring a smooth daily workflow in the operating area
• Collaboration in highly specialized surgical procedures
• Close cooperation with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR teams

Additionally as a Vocational Trainer

• Technical and pedagogical guidance of students during their practical training
• Implementation of the educational mandate according to the training concept
• Support of students in the development of technical and personal competencies
• Close cooperation with management and technical supervisors
• Participation in the further development of training quality

What you bring with you

• Completed training as Fachfrau Operationstechnik HF or Fachmann Operationstechnik HF or as Dipl. Pflegefachfrau or Dipl. Pflegefachmann FA OP
• Completed SVEB course or willingness to complete it
• Several years of professional experience in the acute care sector
• Joy in the training and guidance of students
• Willingness to work weekends, on-call, and night shifts
• Very good German language skills in speaking and writing
