Specialist in Care or After-school Care Lead, Schule Riedtli, 60-80 %

For our young Schule Riedtli, we are looking for an engaged and responsible personality starting January 1, 2027, or by arrangement, who enjoys actively helping to shape the supplementary school care and leisure activities.

Tasks ##

• You care for the primary school children within the framework of supplementary school care and help shape everyday life in the school building.
• You contribute to the cluster teams and participate in the further development of common pedagogical attitudes and processes.
• Together with another specialist, you organize and plan the BeFrei offerings.
• Through your presence and attitude, you contribute to the implementation of the principles of New Authority.

Profile ##

• You are an engaged, motivated, and curious specialist and possess completed training as a Fachfrau/Fachmann Betreuung EFZ or a completed degree in Social Work, a teaching diploma, or a comparable pedagogical degree.

• You set clear boundaries, provide orientation, and simultaneously create room for development.
• You encounter employees and children in an appreciative, clear, and reliable manner and contribute through your presence to the implementation of New Authority.

• You are flexible in your deployment and ready to competently accompany different groups and situations.

Important: All foreign diplomas and professional certificates must mandatory be accompanied by a Swiss equivalence certificate.

About us ##

In the summer of 2025, a new primary school with all-day school offerings was opened in the former Sekundarschulhaus Riedtli in the Unterstrass district. It includes two double kindergartens, ten regular classes, as well as three classes of the Heilpädagogische Schule. By 2030, the school will grow to twelve regular classes. In each of the four upper floors, two to three regular classes and one multi-grade class of the Heilpädagogische Schule form a cluster with shared rooms and close cooperation in the overall team. As an inclusive, modern all-day school, we want to create an attractive place for learning, living, and working where everyone feels comfortable and can develop their potential.
