For our after-school care at Schule Lavater, we are looking for reinforcement immediately or by arrangement.

Tasks ##

As a Childcare Specialist or School Assistant ISR (integrated special education in regular school), you will support our ISR students in their academic and personal development.
More detailed information regarding working hours can be discussed during a personal interview with the Head of Childcare.

Your tasks include:

• Accompanying and supporting in everyday school life, in learning processes, social challenges, and everyday structuring.
• Individual promotion of single students or small groups in close cooperation with teachers and school special education.
• Observation and documentation of the development and behavior of the students as well as exchange with the pedagogical team.
• Support with administrative tasks in the pedagogical area (e.g., organization of materials, accompaniment on excursions, etc.).

Profile ##

• As a Childcare Specialist: Completed training as a Childcare Specialist (specialization in people with disabilities) or a comparable qualification
• A stable personality with an inclusive basic attitude
• Patience, resilience, appreciation, and joy in working with adolescents
• Creativity and linguistic fluency in communication
• Enjoyment of teamwork and interdisciplinary cooperation
• Willingness for reflection and personal further development
• Flexibility and openness to new challenges

Since August 2024, Sekundarschule Lavater has been an all-day school with 12 school classes from the 1st to 3rd secondary level. The completely renovated school building in Zürich-Enge also includes a state-of-the-art underground double sports hall and a beautiful dining hall.
