For an established Design & Build partner based in Zürich West, we are looking for an experienced specialist for the holistic management of retail and interior construction projects. The company plans and realizes spatial and brand experiences in the areas of shopfitting, office worlds, healthcare, brand experience and general tenant fit-out -- from the first idea to turnkey handover. Strategy, concept, planning and execution lie in one hand. The projects run throughout Switzerland; the office is located in the Viaduktquartier.

We are looking for a trustworthy Design & Build personality with sound market knowledge in Swiss interior construction. The role leads projects from the concept phase to completion and combines project execution, customer care and economic responsibility. The goal is not just a single excellent project, but a long-term, partnership-based customer relationship across the entire project portfolio -- from the early phase to aftercare.

Your tasks

• You plan, develop and coordinate Design & Build projects from planning to completion and support in the creation of plans if necessary.
• You advise customers holistically on all trades: architecture, interior construction and building technology (HLKSE).
• You accompany mandates from early project development and strategic planning to implementation.
• You ensure budgets, deadlines, quality standards and administrative processes.
• You create and monitor cost estimates, post-calculations, tenders and invoices.
• You develop practical, value-oriented solutions tailored to concrete customer needs.
• You create and coordinate the documents for building applications, check legal requirements and conduct communication with the authorities.
• You monitor the site management across all trades and ensure a smooth process on the construction site.
• In complex or critical projects, you take on a leading role in finding solutions.
• You support internal project managers as a sparring partner and quality assurer.
• You further develop PM processes, operational workflows and project standards.
• You monitor cost control across the project portfolio, analyze profitability and ensure reporting processes.
• You act as operational relief for the management in operations, project management and organizational development and create freedom for strategic further development.

Your profile

• Completed training as an architect, engineer, site manager, construction economist or equivalent
• Demonstrable experience in a general contractor or Design & Build environment in interior construction
• Sound expertise in customer consulting, planning, cost management, site management and multidisciplinary project execution
• Deep understanding of architecture, interior construction and building technology
• Confident setting of priorities, parallel management of several mandates, hands-on mentality
• Experience in project controlling as well as with digital and agile PM tools (e.g. Smartsheet, ERP, Kanban)
• Negotiation skills as well as sound knowledge of SIA guidelines and building law requirements
• Business fluent German and Swiss German (C1), good English; French is an advantage
• Driver's license category B
