• Active support and advice for customers in the field of stainless steel semi-finished products
• Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
• Competent, solution-oriented processing of customer inquiries
• Creating, tracking, and following up on offers
• Ongoing monitoring of agreed delivery dates
• Expeditious handling of complaints and returns
• Active cooperation with the field service
• Recognizing further market potential and acquisition of new customers
• Regular exchange of market and product information with the responsible product managers
• Independent purchasing for external procurement of transit business

What do you bring to the position?

• Basic technical training or basic commercial training with technical understanding of industrial metals with a focus on stainless steel
• Several years of professional experience in trade and in the metal industry
• High affinity in dealing with IT systems (MS Dynamics 365, CRM or similar), good MS Office knowledge; Excel knowledge mandatory
• Very good German skills, French and Italian and English skills are an advantage
• Independent, exact, and expeditious way of working, combined with teamwork skills and enjoyment in dealing with people
