Together with your team, you will develop effective solutions for the reduction of noise pollution along cantonal roads and actively help shape cantonal and – through participation in supra-cantonal committees – also national noise protection. Your tasks * You lead a team of four project managers technically and personally, promote their further development and create the conditions for successful cooperation * Together with your team, you manage the ongoing noise abatement projects, keep an eye on deadlines, quality and budgets and ensure successful implementation * You manage your own noise abatement projects and coordinate the cooperation within the administration and with external contractors * You network within the office as well as across directorates and offices, coordinate different interests with each other and represent noise protection to various stakeholders Your profile * You think in networks and keep the big picture in mind * You succeed in including different perspectives and developing sustainable solutions together with various stakeholders * You structure complex issues quickly, develop sound concepts and make appropriate decisions * You have several years of leadership experience and know how to promote, further develop and win over specialists for common goals * You have a completed university degree in engineering, environmental sciences, geography, spatial planning or a related field as well as several years of relevant professional experience * You have knowledge in the field of acoustics and specifically in road noise abatement What awaits you * An activity with a noticeable impact on the population's quality of life * The chance to actively help shape future noise protection in the Canton of Zürich * Demanding issues that combine technical know-how and strategic thinking * A wide network of specialists, authorities and external partners Your contact Andrin Widmer Head of Noise Protection Unit Dear personnel service providers!
