The following tasks we can offer you ##

• Independent processing of shafts and rotationally symmetrical components on conventional, NC, and CNC lathes
• Setting up, programming, and operating the machines as well as monitoring the machining processes
• Precise processing of large and heavy components with high quality requirements
• Selection and optimal use of suitable tools and cutting parameters
• Safe lifting, positioning, and moving of components with a weight of up to 30 tons using a crane
• Carrying out quality and dimensional controls to ensure the required tolerances
• Independent monitoring and optimization of the machining processes as well as initiation of necessary corrective measures
• Careful handling of machines, tools, and operating resources
• Close cooperation with the team and adjacent specialist departments

With these qualifications you help us move forward ##

• Completed vocational training as Polymechaniker/in EFZ, Produktionsmechaniker/in EFZ or a comparable technical training
• Several years of professional experience in subtractive manufacturing, ideally in the processing of shafts as well as large and heavy workpieces
• Sound knowledge in handling conventional, NC, and CNC lathes
• Confident handling of cutting tools as well as good understanding of machining processes and cutting parameters
• Experience in handling crane systems and heavy loads is an advantage
• Knowledge of the Siemens control SINUMERIK 840D sl is a plus
• Readiness to work in 2 to 3 shifts
• Independent, precise, and quality-conscious way of working with a high sense of responsibility
• Team-oriented, reliable, and flexible personality
