Receptionist

The Zentrum für Zahnmedizin der Universität Zürich (ZZM) is an internationally recognized clinic, training, and research center. In six specialized clinics and one institute, dentists, dental assistants, and scientists work at the forefront of knowledge and in interdisciplinary teams to achieve the highest quality in patient treatment, teaching, and research.

Die Klinik für Rekonstruktive Zahnmedizin (RZM) ensures the care of patients requiring reconstructions with complex initial situations and high aesthetic demands. To restore chewing function and aesthetics after tooth loss, dental implants are anchored in the bone and used as artificial tooth roots, depending on the initial situation.

Receptionist

Tasks

• Reception of patients and external guests of the RZM
• Oral and written appointment scheduling for patients
• Planning of series of appointments for patients and coordination between patients, dentists, and dental technicians
• Providing dental information and initial contact during ongoing treatments
• Administrative management of the clinical agendas of dentists
• Coordination and organization of patient referrals
• Processing incoming and outgoing mail and taking on additional administrative activities

Profile

You have completed training as a dental assistant as well as commercial additional qualifications. Your personal strengths include loyalty, confidentiality, teamwork, resilience, and initiative. In addition, you work very independently, present yourself professionally, and have very good manners. It is particularly important to us that you have an open, helpful, and warm personality, who maintains calm and an overview even in hectic situations and works reliably at all times. Perfect German skills as well as very good English skills in spoken and written form round off your profile. Further language skills are an advantage. You enjoy working in a dynamic team and are characterized by a high readiness to provide service.

The position is initially limited to one year, with the possibility of subsequent permanent employment.
