Are you a night owl with a heart for nursing and want to apply your professional expertise in a highly specialized environment? In cardiac surgery, you will accompany our patients through their recovery phase during the night with a lot of specialist knowledge, attentiveness, and empathy.
As a permanent night watch, you and your team will ensure safe, professional, and individual care and contribute to ensuring our patients feel well cared for around the clock.

YOUR TASKS

• You ensure competent, individual, and professional nursing and care of our patients with cardiac surgical clinical pictures during the night.
• You implement physician-ordered diagnostic and therapeutic measures independently and in cooperation with the responsible specialists.
• You monitor the health status of our patients, recognize changes early, and initiate the necessary measures in emergency situations.
• You take responsibility for complete and correct nursing documentation as well as for structured information transfer during shift handovers.
• You work closely with the interprofessional team and ensure continuous and safe care across all shifts.
• You actively contribute to the further development of nursing quality and support new employees, trainees, and students within the scope of your area of responsibility.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have completed training as Dipl. Pflegefachfrau / Dipl. Pflegefachmann HF/FH.
• In the case of a foreign qualification, you possess the corresponding SRK recognition.
• You have experience in acute care; knowledge in the field of cardiac surgery is an advantage.
• You are familiar with the use of telemetry or are willing to undergo targeted further training in this area.
• You are characterized by high professional and social competence, a sense of responsibility, as well as an independent and proactive way of working.
• You maintain an overview even in demanding situations and act calmly, deliberately, and solution-oriented.
• You have very good German language skills in speaking and writing and value teamwork.
