Due to a retirement, we are looking for reinforcement in the "Back to School" program starting from 1 March 2027 or by arrangement!

• Teaching diploma for secondary level, recognized in Switzerland
• Readiness and joy in intensive cooperation with and the support of challenging adolescents
• Readiness for proactive cooperation with the school management, parents, the school board, and other involved bodies
• High resilience and social competence
• Positive basic attitude, ability to work in a team, resilience, high social competence

We offer you a varied, versatile activity in a lively, dynamic, and multicultural environment. In your area of activity with freedom in lesson design, you will be accompanied by an experienced job partner. Your place of work is the school grounds of Schule Apfelbaum, whose infrastructure you can use. The school is located approx. 15 minutes walking distance from Bahnhof Oerlikon and is surrounded by a lot of greenery. For this activity, you will be employed as a teacher according to municipal guidelines.

About us ##

We are a large school community in Zürich-Nord with 19 schools. We derive our pedagogical stance from the concept of New Authority and thus meet the daily challenges in everyday school life together and effectively.

The Back to School program offers secondary school adolescents a break from the regular class of their school of origin for up to 12 weeks. As a rule, the adolescents complete an internship two days a week in a company of the labor integration (trade and industry, service and maintenance, gastronomy) of the city of Zürich. On the remaining weekdays, they attend school lessons in a small group. The ultimate goal of Back to School is reintegration into the class of the school of origin.
