Real Estate Asset Portfolio Manager (all genders)

ABOUT THE POSITION

You will strengthen the Real Estate Asset Management department in Zürich with a permanent contract. Our building is located near the Selnau station.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main tasks in this position include:

• Responsibility for the management and the business results of the assigned real estate portfolio of residential and commercial properties.
• Active further development and realization of development potential within the framework of complex renovations, large-scale construction projects, and replacement new buildings.
• Optimization of the performance of the assigned portfolio through the development and implementation of strategies at the asset level.
• Preparation and implementation of the developed property strategies including financial planning, marketing and leasing activities, management of property management companies and other external service providers.
• Optimization and monitoring of the business results at the property level (budgets, income, operating costs, capital expenditures, and valuations) in cooperation with external real estate managers and appraisers.
• Observation of the regional real estate market and identification of holistic opportunities and risks for the sustainable optimization of property performance.
• Support in real estate transactions and determination of their property strategies.
• Valuation of properties.
• Preparation, negotiation, and conclusion of relevant commercial lease agreements.
• Development of new business ideas in the area of Real Assets.
• Implementation of sustainability requirements at the property level.
• Support in international reporting.

You will work in a lively, multicultural and international environment. In addition, hybrid or remote working models are offered.

YOUR PROFILE:

Education:

• University degree in architecture, engineering, finance, business administration, or similar and ideally further training in the real estate sector.

Experience:

• Several years of professional experience as an Asset or Investment Manager, real estate consultant, tenant representative, or Real Estate Manager, ideally with know-how in residential and commercial properties.

Skills and Competencies:

• Entrepreneurially thinking and results-oriented person who approaches challenges positively and develops solutions autonomously with a creative spirit and represents them convincingly, as well as achieving measurable, data-driven results through cooperation.
• Confident, trustworthy appearance with negotiation skills.
• Strong skills in analyzing and summarizing complex matters.
• Sound knowledge in the application of conventional and financial valuation methods (DCF).
• Solid and practical legal knowledge.
• Ability to work in a team and in an international environment.

Language Skills:

• Very good oral and written German and English skills. Knowledge of French is an advantage.
