You will lead demanding infrastructure projects from planning to implementation, thereby actively shaping the further development of our plants and buildings. In doing so, you will coordinate interdisciplinary project teams, external partners, and operations, keep an eye on costs, deadlines, and quality, and ensure that complex projects are successfully realized while taking into account operational and public framework conditions. Tasks <br /> • You lead infrastructure projects such as the renewal of process technology plants in the wastewater treatment plant (ARA) area, the new construction of a logistics hub, or renovations / conversions of building infrastructure. • You coordinate interdisciplinary project teams, external planning offices, executing construction companies, as well as the operations team. • You steer projects proactively with additional focus on regulatory requirements, risks, contracts, and operational framework conditions. • You are responsible for creating concepts, decision bases, and specifications, as well as tenders and awards of planning and construction services according to the guidelines of public procurement law. • You ensure compliance with legal regulations, quality requirements, and common safety standards. <br /> Profile <br /> • Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, civil engineering, industrial engineering, process engineering, architecture, or a similar discipline • At least 5 years of experience in leading large-scale or infrastructure projects, ideally with touchpoints to the public sector • Sound knowledge in project management as well as ideally in construction and procurement law • Experience in working with planning offices, general planners, and suppliers • Negotiation skills, assertiveness, and diplomatic tact in dealing with different stakeholders <br /> We offer <br /> • Generous mobility contribution • A modern, down-to-earth, and future-oriented working environment • A careful induction into your activity • Opportunities for mobile working • Wage equality • Above-average social benefits • Meal allowance • Maternity leave: 16 weeks paid • Paternity leave: 20 paid days • Parents can care for their sick child for three days without deduction of vacation • Development opportunities through the wide range of educational offerings of the City of Zürich • ERZ Sportclub <br /> Interested?
