To support our team, we are looking for support in à la carte service as of 01.11.2026. Restaurationsfachfrau / mann 100%.

Das Restaurant Schützenruh is a traditional restaurant, has 150 seats and 180 terrace seats under the beautiful linden trees in summer. Additionally, the bowling alley accommodates up to 30 guests.

Field of responsibility:
Greeting and seating the guests.
Professional advice and taking orders.
Processing the order and timely calling for food and drinks.
Cash handling (Uniwell cash register system) and daily accounting.
Performing all mise en place and cleaning work.
Accepting reservation inquiries.
Relieving the buffet or working at the buffet.

Requirements:
Completed vocational training or already several years of experience in à la carte service. Very good Swiss German skills are a prerequisite.

General:
Do you enjoy serving guests, are you flexible regarding working hours, and do you not mind working in the evening, with split shifts (Zimmerstunde), and on weekends? Then we look forward to hearing from you. Wednesday is always a rest day.

Since the working hours are very irregular and also include afternoon breaks, someone from the city of Zürich or with a short commute (agglomeration) would be very welcome.
Please no applications if split shifts (Zimmerstunde) are not desired. This occurs at least 2-3x per week.
