For the next development phase, we are looking for an exclusive mandate for a personality as Senior Accountant who, with entrepreneurial thinking, professional competence, and a passion for design, will contribute to continuing the success story of Howden Schweiz.

Your challenge

• Closings & Accounting
• You take responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and ensure that these are prepared cleanly, correctly, and on time
• You ensure correct postings according to OR and IFRS and specifically apply your closing expertise to more complex issues
• You support tax, management accounting, and reporting topics and ensure a reliable financial data base
• Process Development & Integration
• Abacus is your home; You take on the role as Super-User, optimize the use of the system, and further develop processes and applications together with the relevant specialist departments.
• You contribute to the centralization and harmonization of accounting processes and use Abacus specifically to automate and further develop workflows
• You optimize interfaces to internal areas such as HR, Controlling, FP&A, and other specialist departments
• You support the integration of acquired companies and help to sustainably unify structures, processes, and standards

In short: In this role, you combine operational closing security with pronounced Abacus competence. Process understanding, enjoyment of people, and passion for design. You ensure that numbers are correct, processes work, and the accounting of Howden Schweiz keeps pace with growth.

Your qualities and talents

• You have a degree as a specialist in finance and accounting FA or as a fiduciary FA with a strong accounting and closing focus
• You bring at least three to five years of relevant experience in the accounting of a larger organization or a fiduciary company
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual closings according to OR are part of your professional daily routine, experience with IFRS is a plus
• You have very good Excel skills and are a proven Abacus professional, ideally with experience as a Super-User as well as in the optimization of processes and evaluations
• Process optimization, harmonization, and the further development of accounting structures give you joy
• Experience with more complex cost center, location, or place of business structures is a great advantage
• You work precisely, pragmatically, and solution-oriented and enjoy taking responsibility within the team
• You master German at a native level, you speak English very well; French skills are a plus
