In the criminal department, the Digital Investigation Services commissariat, acting as a competence center, not only offers digital forensic evidence, reports, and data analysis from a single source, but also conducts its own investigations and operational procedures in the cyber area and works in an advisory capacity in the background. Innovation is our top priority. The Cyber specialist group of the Stadtpolizei Zürich is a specialized criminal investigation service within the Digital Investigation Services commissariat, which focuses heavily on cybercrime and related offenses as well as partial investigations in cyberspace for the benefit of other services. To this end, the specialist group works closely with the public prosecutor's office and other internal and external police agencies. Tasks ## • Processing of complex reports in the field of cybercrime phenomena • Conducting demanding investigation procedures in the field of cybercrime phenomena in close cooperation with the regional public prosecutor's offices, the Staatsanwaltschaft II of the Kanton Zürich, as well as the Kantonspolizei Zürich • Conducting complex partial investigations in cyberspace for the benefit of various services of the Stadtpolizei Zürich • Deployment as an instructor in the field of cybercrime within the police corps Profile ## You bring one of the following requirements:   • Police access: Completed police training (Federal Diploma of Higher Education for Police Officers) with a strong interest in IT, new technologies, and digital investigation methods - programming knowledge is not a must, we will build it specifically with you • Professional access: Several years of experience in combating cybercrime (civilian or police) as well as training in the field of computer science, IT security, or a related subject area; programming knowledge in Python or other languages is an advantage   Additionally, we expect from you:   • Good English skills • Openness to new technologies, investigation methods, and criminal police work • Agility, teamwork, high motivation, and enjoyment of technically complex problems • Independent and precise way of working We offer ## Within the agile, independent, and solution-oriented team, an interesting and demanding activity in a constantly changing, forward-looking field of responsibility awaits you.
