Through their work in the five social centers, the Social Services ensure that people in the city of Zürich can rely on effective basic social services.

For our Sozialzentrum Selnau, we are looking for reinforcement from 01. November 2026 or by arrangement until 31. March 2027.

Tasks

• You advise and accompany adult clients in financial and social difficulties and seek ways together with them for sustainable professional and social integration.
• You work polyvalent: You issue economic social assistance and carry out civil law mandates for adults. Variety is guaranteed.
• You document your work traceably in a case management system.
• You are administratively supported by clerks, can draw on the knowledge of internal specialist departments and work closely with your colleagues in the team.

Profile

• University of applied sciences degree in Social Work
• Professional experience in the orientation of economic social assistance and/or in managing mandates in adult protection. Corresponding further training is an advantage.
• Commercial organizational flair and good knowledge of financial topics
• Joy in working with people and good handling of conflicting expectations
• Rapid grasping of complex situations and the ability to take on different roles in counseling and care
