The Schulkreis Schwamendingen comprises the entire district 12 of the city of Zürich. Schule Mattenhof is located in the immediate vicinity of the Stettbach station and is easily accessible by public transport.

At our school, three kindergarten classes as well as ten mixed-age primary classes are taught. In our two childcare facilities, we accompany and provide meals for up to 230 children daily. Since 2020, Schule Mattenhof has been operated as an all-day school and continuously develops the cooperation between instruction and childcare.

The Tagesschule Mattenhof sees itself as a learning community in which children and adults grow together. We accompany children in their personal and social development, strengthen their independence, and create an environment in which they feel safe, can try new things, and grow through their experiences. For our childcare at the primary level, we are looking for a committed social pedagogue who takes on responsibility, actively rolls up their sleeves, thinks ahead, and shapes everyday childcare together with our team. Your area of impact

• You accompany and promote the kindergarten children with heart and commitment, whether during non-instructional time, at the lunch table, in holiday care, or on school-free days
• You actively contribute your ideas to the further development of our pedagogical work and also take on administrative, organizational, and planning tasks
• You shape a lively, varied, and age-appropriate everyday childcare routine in which the children can feel comfortable and flourish
• You bring joy and interest to designing and conducting courses for children at the kindergarten or primary level as part of the "BeFrei" project
• In working groups, you actively help shape the future of our Tagesschule
• Depending on interest and qualification, you train apprentices Fachpersonen Betreuung (FaBe) or take on the function of practical instructor (PA), thereby passing on your knowledge and your joy in the profession
• You maintain an open and trusting cooperation with teachers, parents, and other specialists

You bring with you:

• Degree in Social Pedagogy (FH/HF), Social Work (FH/HF), or an equivalent recognized qualification
• Professional experience in working with children aged 4 to 12 years
• Joy in accompanying children in their development and promoting their independence
• You take responsibility, think along, and act proactively
• You show initiative, recognize the need for action, and naturally help out in everyday childcare
• You work in a structured, solution-oriented manner and value cooperation in an interdisciplinary team
• Computers are a work tool for you and not an obstacle - you enjoy completing administrative tasks reliably
• Very good German skills

For foreign diplomas and professional qualifications, Swiss diploma recognition is a mandatory requirement
