Basic training in retail focuses on activities in the sales shop. Prospective retail specialists learn to advise customers professionally. This means that they know the assortment, can provide information and advise customers. Individual customer orders, such as a special birthday cake or a rich apéro, offer a special variety. The training lasts 3 years. The additional training to DHF for retail assistants lasts 2 years.
