Senior Project Manager - Specialization "Medical Devices & Applications" ###

In our development center in Wil, we realize products for leading and future-oriented companies. We accompany our international clients in their innovations and new technologies, and transfer product developments to series production and authorizations. To strengthen our "Health & Life Sciences" team, we are looking for your profile.

Field of activity ###

In collaboration with a qualified engineering team composed of scientists and industrial designers, you lead extensive developments in the field of medical applications and pharmaceutical therapies. You lead the project team and are responsible for technical achievements as well as the applications of developments of devices and systems used by and for patients. Specialized knowledge and a high awareness of quality are at the heart of your daily work. Within the project team, you accompany internal and external interlocutors, from the idea to series maturity, for international groups, SMEs and start-ups.

You lead interdisciplinary and international project teams and work in close collaboration with our employees and clients. Thanks to your knowledge, your creativity and your experience, you accompany client projects from the conceptual phase to the design and prototyping phase up to product verification. Your enthusiasm and your confidence help you to convince clients of our solutions. You think and act entrepreneurially, are resistant to stress and adopt a pragmatic way of working. Due to international contacts and the writing of controlled documentation, you master English both orally and in writing.

Furthermore, you identify new development and innovation potentials with our clients, carry out needs analyses and contribute actively to the development of strategic relationships with clients as well as to business development.

Requirements ###

• University degree in a technical field (ETH / EPFL / FH / TU)
• Broad technical knowledge with several years of experience in development in the field of medical or pharmaceutical technology
• Several years of experience in leading interdisciplinary and international project teams as well as in technical fields and engineering disciplines
• You are strong in finding solutions to conceptual questions, work systematically and have a deep understanding of systems
• Experience in product development according to EN ISO 13485. Additional knowledge in MDR, IVDR, GMP as well as in software development according to IEC 62304 would be a plus
• Passion for your profession and pleasure in performing varied and diverse tasks
• Entrepreneurial personality with strong social and communication skills as well as pleasure in collaborating in an interdisciplinary project team
• Enthusiasm and motivation for business development and key account management as well as the ability to understand client needs, to carry out needs analyses in a structured manner and to build lasting client relationships
• Openness towards your interlocutors to transmit your expertise and your experiences
• Good knowledge of German and English (written and oral)
