WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU

As a Product Manager C2, you will actively shape the strategic further development of our Command-&-Control products in the field of Ground Based Air Defence. At the interface between customers, market, and technology, you will develop future-oriented product strategies and roadmaps, contributing your ideas from initial conception to successful implementation.

Your tasks in detail:

• Strategic further development of defined Command-&-Control products and product families in the field of Ground Based Air Defence
• Development and implementation of product strategies, product roadmaps, and business cases with a focus on C2 based on customer requirements, market trends, and technological developments
• Conducting market, competitive, and technology assessments as well as collection, evaluation, and prioritization of customer requirements
• Derivation of innovation and product improvement measures
• Building and moderating user groups as well as establishing roadmap participation and feature voting processes with customers and users
• Building and further developing software and licensing business models including suitable pricing approaches for future C2 products and functions
• Co-shaping the idea-to-product process from the first product idea to market launch, as well as supporting product validations at the customer site
• Supporting Business Development, Bid Management, and Sales during tenders, campaigns, customer presentations, and the positioning of our products
• Close cooperation with Systems Engineering and Software Development regarding architecture decisions, concept reviews, product increments, and releases
• Carrying out product governance activities and gate reviews as well as creating management decision templates and supporting lifecycle management

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable field of study
• Several years of professional experience in Product Management, Systems Engineering, Command & Control, Software Development, or a comparable technology-oriented environment
• Experience in the development of product strategies, roadmaps, and business cases as well as in dealing with complex technical products
• Knowledge of military command and information systems as well as sensor, communication, command, and air defense architectures is an advantage
• Knowledge of agile product management and development methods as well as experience with software and technology-driven products is desirable
• Experience in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Fusion, Situational Awareness, or Automation is an advantage
• Strong technical understanding combined with strategic and entrepreneurial thinking as well as high customer and market orientation
• Analytical, structured, and independent way of working as well as the ability to communicate complex technical and organizational contexts clearly
• Strong communication and moderation skills, initiative, and a confident manner towards customers, management, and various stakeholders
• Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form as well as team spirit, sense of responsibility, and enthusiasm for innovative technologies and modern C2 solutions
