Junior Project Engineer High Voltage Switchgear

You will support the planning, design, and implementation of projects in the field of gas-insulated high voltage switchgear.

Tasks

• Support in the execution of customer projects together with senior engineers
• Participation in the design of gas-insulated switchgear, including single-line diagrams and layout drawings
• Creation and maintenance of project documentation according to standards and customer specifications
• Support with internal documentation and engineering guidelines
• Processing of special material orders from Research and Development
• Participation in troubleshooting and solving technical problems
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams in Switzerland and India

Profile

• Technical qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Initial experience in the field of high voltage switchgear is an advantage
• Knowledge of SAP and 2D/3D design tools such as Creo or AutoCAD is an advantage
• Confident use of Microsoft Office programs
• Independent, structured, and proactive way of working
• Fluent German and English
