Childcare Specialist Schule Bühl, 50 %

For our childcare location Horteria at the Schule Bühl, we are looking for reinforcement starting immediately or by arrangement, fixed-term until 28 February 2027.

Tasks ##

As a Childcare Specialist, you are responsible three days per week (Mon, Tue and Thu) at the childcare location Horteria for the supervision of students of primary school age. Together with other social educators and childcare specialists, you ensure smooth daily operations. Exact details regarding working hours can be discussed during a personal interview with the Head of Childcare. Your tasks include:

• Helping to shape the school-based childcare as well as ensuring daily operations
• Accompanying and supporting the children in social and school matters
• Cooperation with parents from different cultural backgrounds
• Collaboration in the holiday daycare and on school-free days

Profile ##

• As a Childcare Specialist, you have a professional qualification as a Childcare Specialist or Toddler Educator*
• In the case of a foreign diploma, Swiss diploma recognition is a mandatory requirement
• Professional experience in the care of children (after-school care, nursery, home)
• You have very good oral and written German skills
• Committed and enthusiastic personality who enjoys the further development of the childcare offerings for our children
• Personality for whom cooperative teamwork and diversity are a matter of course, and feedback and reflection are not foreign concepts
• You are a co-creator on the way to the Tagesschule Bühl from school year 27/28

About us ##

The Schulkreis Uto is one of seven school districts in the Stadt Zürich and includes the city districts 2 and 3 with the quarters Leimbach, Wollishofen, Enge, Friesenberg and Alt-Wiedikon.

The Schule Bühl is a public school of the Stadt Zürich. It is located in the heart of the Wiedikon quarter at the foot of the Üetliberg. In the school year 2023/24, 485 children from kindergarten to the 6th grade attend the Schule Bühl, which currently has 18 primary classes, including 9 lower and middle school classes each as well as 6 kindergarten classes.

In addition to the school building and the gym building, there are also 4 kindergarten locations in the quarters and 8 childcare facilities.
