For the professional maintenance of renowned Zurich sports facilities – including the Stadion Letzigrund as well as other significant sports facilities in the city of Zürich – we are looking for a committed, strong-willed personality.

Your main tasks

Team leadership: Technical and organizational leadership of the maintenance team on-site at the sports fields.

Lawn & facility care: Responsibility for the professional care and maintenance of natural and hybrid grass playing fields as well as surrounding green spaces. Implementation of maintenance measures such as aerating, verticutting, overseeding, sand top-dressing, fertilizing, irrigation control, as well as filling holes on the natural grass fields.

Machine operation: Safe and professional handling of modern maintenance machines, large-area mowers, and special equipment.

Quality assurance: Ensuring the highest lawn quality according to the requirements of match operations as well as compliance with occupational safety.

Interface function: Collaboration and coordination with groundskeepers, operations managers, and the internal project management.

Working hours in event/sports operations: Shifts on Saturdays and Sundays as well as night work are possible – these are very well compensated and fully compensated during the work week (time off in lieu).

Your profile

• Completed vocational training as a Landschaftsgärtner EFZ or comparable training in the green sector (e.g., Greenkeeper, Fachmann Betriebsunterhalt with a focus on lawn care) or at least 5 years of sound professional experience in garden or sports field maintenance.
• Initial leadership experience as a foreman/group leader or several years of sound experience in sports field maintenance/large-area care.

• Willingness to work on weekends and during evening/night hours, coordinated with the match and event operations in the stadium.
• High quality awareness and enthusiasm for professional lawn and sports field care.

• Strong team spirit, assertiveness, and a friendly appearance.
• Driver's license Cat. B mandatory (Cat. BE / trailer is a great advantage).
