Head of IT Sector (80-100%) # The secretariat constitutes the central service center of the Reformed Parish of Zurich. The IT sector is responsible for the IT infrastructure and ICT means. It implements the strategic directives of the church council and guarantees safe and reliable IT operations. Furthermore, the IT sector is a service provider for the Catholic City of Zurich.  Due to the retirement of the current job holder, we are looking for a team-oriented and committed person starting from 1 April 2027 or by agreement as Your tasks • Management of the IT sector in terms of personnel, expertise, and finance  • Continuous development of the IT infrastructure and services, including processes and tools  • Active promotion of digitalization within the parish • Further professionalization of the sector as a service center and promotion of employees  • Ensuring client-oriented service delivery  • Responsibility for the budget, service levels, as well as compliance with standards, data protection, and security requirements • Development of decision-making bases for the executive and parliament as well as for legislative ordinances, strategic concepts, and directives for the use of IT means Your profile • University degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field • Proven several years of management experience in the IT field, preferably in public law, political, or non-profit organizations  • Deep and current knowledge in the areas of IT infrastructure, application management, IT security, and Microsoft 365  • Experience in project management and design of efficient processes • Strong analytical, conceptual, and methodological skills as well as a healthy balance between innovative thinking and pragmatism  • Great personal initiative, solution orientation, and stress resistance  • Communicative, integrous, leading personality, with heart and reason as well as a strong sense of service  • Identification with the values and objectives of the Reformed Church We offer • A responsible and versatile management function with autonomy  • Collaboration with a competent and motivated team  • The possibility to actively shape digital transformation  • A modern office infrastructure in a central location in Zurich  • Flexible working hours as well as teleworking by agreement Are you interested?
