Team Leader Legal & Procurement 80 - 100% # The Amt für Informatik (AFI) is the IT competence center of the Canton of Zurich. It provides comprehensive services in the area of central IT infrastructure and canton-wide applications for directorates, authorities, the judiciary, and independent institutions. Entrusted with the implementation of the new Information and Communication Technology (ICT) strategy, the AFI accompanies the canton into the digital world. At the AFI, you will take on a central role at the interface of law, IT, and public mandate. You will lead a team of 6 people, ensure legal clarity, and steer procurement management in a dynamic environment. Your tasks: ### • Professional and personnel leadership as well as further development of an interdisciplinary team of lawyers and procurement specialists (around 6-8 employees) • Responsibility for comprehensive legal advice to internal stakeholders in administrative law, data protection and information security law, public procurement/tender law, as well as IT contract law - together with your team • Further development of procurement management and establishment of professional supplier management; ensuring efficient and compliant procurement (hardware, software, services) • Legal support for IT and digitalization projects in the Canton of Zurich as well as support for political matters of the AFI • Close cooperation with the management of the AFI and the General Secretariat, representation of the AFI towards committees and authorities, as well as joint responsibility for legal governance in digital transformation • Development and implementation of guidelines, standards, and processes for the topics of Legal & Procurement Your profile: ### • Completed university degree in law (Master / lic. iur.) • Several years of proven leadership experience in leading specialist teams - ideally in the public sector or in a highly regulated environment • Many years of professional experience in the relevant areas of law as well as profound knowledge in public procurement/tender law, contract law, data protection, and administrative law • Strong strategic and networked thinking skills; you recognize connections, think ahead, and act in a solution-oriented manner • High analytical ability and a sure sense for legal, technological, and political dynamics • Ability to manage change and enthusiasm for innovation; you bring in new impulses and actively shape processes • Communication strength, negotiation skills, and a confident appearance towards internal as well as external stakeholders • Stylistically confident oral and written expression in German (business fluent) What we offer: ### • Flexible working models: Home office, flex-desk, creative zones • Opportunity to contribute professionally and strategically in an innovative environment • Modern IT system landscape and exciting tasks • Insight into the diversity of the largest employer in the Canton of Zurich • Opportunity to actively help shape the future of the canton Do you feel addressed? ### Then apply now - we look forward to getting to know you.
