Childcare Specialist EFZ - Night Shift 20% (3-5 nights per month) ##

The Stiftung Monikaheim in Zürich cares for children from 0 to 7 years old 365 days a year, around the clock. Our offering includes two residential groups, a crisis intervention group, as well as Supported Living for Mother and Child (MuKi).

Your field of activity

You will work during 3 to 5 nights per month in our crisis intervention group with six places for children from birth to 7 years. You will take over the care of the children during the night and, if necessary, also accompany short-term emergency admissions.

In doing so, you act independently, react professionally to unforeseen situations, and work closely with the daytime team. Smaller domestic tasks are also part of the role.

Working hours: 18.00 to 8.00 Uhr

What you bring with you

• Training as a Childcare Specialist EFZ or a comparable pedagogical training
• Sound specialist knowledge and experience in the care of newborns, infants, and young children
• Experience in dealing with children in crisis and stressful situations
• Independence, sense of responsibility, and resilience
• Flexibility, empathy, and a good dose of humor
