Enterprise /Domain Architect,Core Banking Systems/ 100%/ ZH
Project focus: As part of a strategic platform program, the existing core banking system landscape is being consolidated and reoriented towards the future. The focus is on developing bank-wide architecture target images, the preparation and execution of an RfP, and the development of a sustainable target architecture including an implementation roadmap. The goal is a future-proof, integrated core banking platform in harmony with IT and 100% for 14 months in Zürich.

Tasks:

• Development of the strategic application architecture for core banking systems and their directly connected applications.
• Development of a bank-wide reference architecture across various functional domains.
• Structuring, analysis, and critical evaluation of functional requirements in close coordination with business and IT stakeholders.
• Development of an implementation roadmap including critical path, dependencies, and defined exit points.
• Functional support of the core banking transformation across all project phases.
• Support of the RfP preparation and execution as well as support of the vendor selection.
• Evaluation and critical examination of solution architectures, offers, and costs.
• Ensuring the alignment of architecture decisions with the IT and corporate strategy.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience as an Enterprise Architect or Domain Architect in complex IT landscapes, ideally with a focus on core banking systems.
• Sound knowledge in the architecture and transformation of core banking systems, especially in the areas of accounts, securities, payment transactions, settlement, clearing, and financing.
• Proven experience in core banking transformations with different products and across all project phases.
• Very good knowledge of modern architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Capability Based Modelling, as well as common integration patterns.
• Experience in agile project environments, for example with Scrum or SAFe.
• Broad understanding of banking applications, IT solutions, and bank-wide reference architectures.
• Ability to communicate complex architecture decisions in a target-group-oriented manner from the C-Level to the implementation teams.
