Tasks ##

• You dispatch the rescue services in the cantons of Zürich, Schaffhausen, Zug as well as Schwyz and apply the legal and operational requirements in doing so.
• You alert the fire departments and civil protection in the canton of Zürich as well as numerous other specialist institutions, the large animal rescue service, etc.
• You have an overview of all rescue forces in operation as well as the free resources available to you for further alerts.
• You recognize undersupplied regions in the dispatch area and react proactively and adequately to ensure emergency medical care is guaranteed at all times.
• You communicate clearly, friendly, and purposefully and maintain a partnership-based and solution-oriented cooperation within the emergency control center and with our partners.

Profile ##

• Completed training as a Dipl. Rettungssanitäter*in HF (mandatory requirement)
• Operational experience in the dispatch area of our emergency control center as well as knowledge of the legal foundations of the rescue system
• The ability to assess situations correctly based on facts, to draw the right conclusions from them, to bring about decisions, and to derive conscious actions from them (triage, prioritize, delimit)
• Confident appearance, a team-oriented way of working, as well as pronounced communication strength and dispatching skill
