HR Specialist

For our personnel department, we are looking for a competent and motivated HR specialist as of February 2027 or by arrangement.

HR Specialist

Schutz & Rettung Zürich (SRZ), as a service department of the Security Department, combines the professional and militia fire departments, the medical services, as well as the Emergency Control Center (ELZ) for the emergency numbers 144 and 118. Furthermore, civil protection, fire police, and a training center with an affiliated Higher Vocational School for Rescue Professions (HFRB) belong to the largest civilian rescue organization in Switzerland. Intervention and prevention units protect and rescue people, animals, material assets, and the environment around the clock in the city of Zürich, at Zürich Airport, and in the agglomeration.

Tasks

• Personnel administration from entry to exit
• Monitoring compliance with personnel law requirements
• Creation and preparation of management key figures
• Independent master data entry and maintenance
• Collaboration on the timely monthly closing in the payroll system
• Maintaining contact with employees and supervisors as well as authorities, offices, and social insurance partners
• Advising employees and supervisors on personnel administration issues

Profile

• Teamwork skills, resilience, and a sense of responsibility
• The ability to reliably devote the necessary care to every important detail and a passion for administrative activities
• A commercial basic education as well as further training in the personnel field and at least 3 years of corresponding practical experience
• Sound SAP knowledge and confident working with the MS Office suite
• IT affinity, a flair for numbers, and very good German skills (oral and written)
