Real Estate Asset Manager (w/m/d) Swiss Life is the largest private real estate owner in Switzerland and thus provides living and working spaces to numerous people. With the fulfillment of owner tasks, around 120 real estate specialists from the fields of portfolio and asset management, construction management, transaction, ESG as well as accounting and controlling are entrusted with the Real Estate Switzerland area. You will become part of a lively team with a high degree of autonomy and a self-determined daily routine. Your role includes the development of property strategies, the definition of construction projects and the management of external property management companies as well as other contractors. With your entrepreneurial thinking and your results-oriented way of working, you will contribute significantly to the success of our real estate vehicles, in which both institutional and private customers are invested. Real Estate Asset Manager (w/m/d) Zürich Full-time The Role Optimization of returns and costs for the assigned portfolio, including in French-speaking Switzerland, with the uses residential, office and sale Development of property strategies with the help of economic variant comparisons (including DCF models) Definition of renovation and conversion projects, preparation of investment and profitability calculations as well as the preparation and processing of investment applications Development and identification of utilization reserves (replacement new builds, extensions, densification etc.) Achieving a sustainable quality of the construction projects in terms of rentability, costs, longevity and ecology Management of the external property management companies, ongoing exchange with the property management team leaders, management of other contractors in the areas of marketing, planning and law Development and controlling of the annual budget and ongoing review of the real estate accounting Conducting negotiations with larger tenants, neighbors and other stakeholders Expertise Technical, commercial or business administration basic training supplemented by real estate specialist training (e.g. federal diploma in real estate fiduciary and/or real estate appraiser, MAS Real Estate Management or similar) Very good German and English skills Good knowledge of the real estate industry Sound knowledge in the application of financial technical valuation methods Several years of professional experience in a similar or the same function, preferably with leadership experience Solid and practical knowledge in construction as well as in tenancy and construction law You are an entrepreneurially thinking and team-oriented personality with negotiation skills and resilience.
