Tasks

To ensure optimal care for our animals, we are looking for employees who can take on regular and long-term assignments, ideally on at least two weekends per month. Constant care facilitates organization and allows the animals to get used to familiar people, making handling less stressful and easier.

As a member of our team, you will share responsibility for the optimal care of the animals on weekends, on public holidays and, if necessary, in the event of sickness-related absences or as holiday cover (on average 3-4 hours per assignment). The task includes the following sub-aspects, but can be expanded depending on level of experience and interest:

Your tasks:

• Animal care of the animals (cleaning out, feeding, watering)
• Checking health status
• Optional: Assistance with the medical care of animals (administration of medication, minor interventions (e.g. changing bandages))
• Optional: Assistance with emergencies on the weekend (assistance with anestheses in cooperation with the veterinary staff)

Profile

• Experienced in handling large animals (pigs, sheep) and rabbits (or interest in learning this)
• Interest in an exciting side job
• Flexibility
• Experience and interest in handling and working with large animals
