The Staatsarchiv des Kantons Zürich, with its archival holdings spanning 1150 years, is the central archive of the Canton of Zürich and its historical legal predecessors. It preserves original documents of the Cantonal Council, the Government, the cantonal central and district administration, as well as the cantonal courts, notary offices, and independent public law institutions, and makes them accessible to the public.

We are looking for an engaged personality as Technical Manager Facility Services and Safety Officer 100% starting May 1, 2027, or by arrangement.

Your tasks ###

• Planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance work on technical systems as well as ensuring their proper operation, external contacts
• Organization and coordination of facility management tasks as well as participation in daily operational business (maintenance and repair work)
• Care and monitoring of security systems (burglary, fire, water, etc.)
• Carrying out the task as Safety Officer as well as conducting security training
• Creating and updating security-relevant instructions and directives

Your profile ###

• Completed vocational training with EFZ, preferably in the field of building technology (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, building automation, electrical engineering) or in a related technical or manual profession
• Further education as a Hauswart/in with an eidgenössischem Fachausweis or a comparable qualification in the field of facility management or Facility Management
• Several years of sound professional experience in a comparable function
• Driving license category B; forklift license as well as training as a Safety Officer are an advantage
• Team-oriented, flexible, and responsible personality with strong organizational skills
• Independent, reliable, and solution-oriented way of working, good user knowledge in Microsoft 365
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing
