It protects the interests of investors, creditors, and the insured, and contributes to the stability and competitiveness of financial market participants through its supervision. In the Accounting group, we offer you a position as

Main tasks

• Handling of accounting questions (particularly regarding the Accounting Ordinance-FINMA / FINMA-RS 20/1 "Accounting - Banks" and the Code of Obligations)
• Internal consulting, training, and support of the supervision in complex issues
• Analysis of annual financial statements (individual and group financial statements) to support regulatory supervision
• Revision of existing as well as development of new regulations
• On-site inspections and contact point for inquiries from supervised entities and interest representatives
• Tracking and influencing national and international developments

Profile

• Completed university or university of applied sciences degree in the field of economics or finance or a comparable higher vocational training, for example as a dipl. Wirtschaftsprüfer
• 5-8 years of professional experience in the area of bank accounting (Accounting Ordinance-FINMA / FINMA-RS 20/1 "Accounting - Banks")
• Ability to independently grasp, structure, and assess complex relationships even under time pressure
• Solution-oriented approach to work, persuasiveness, teamwork skills, as well as good editorial skills
• Very good German or French skills (C2) with good knowledge of the respective other language as well as good English skills
