The Personalamt des Kantons Zürich is the competence center for all personnel-relevant topics of the cantonal administration with over 35,000 employees. We support managers and employees in a wide variety of HR topics and shape modern personnel work in a dynamic environment.

Many things are currently happening at once with us: retirements, new requirements, transformation projects, and recruitments in very different areas. That is exactly why we are looking for an experienced recruiter personality who takes responsibility quickly, works pragmatically, and is eager to contribute in an environment with a lot of movement.

We are a small recruiting team that moves a lot, likes to laugh, and yet works very precisely. We like people who think ahead, communicate openly, and do not lose their sense of humor even when three processes are urgent at the same time.

Your tasks ###

• You are responsible for recruitments in various offices of the Finanzdirektion with around 1,200 employees and manage the process from the first briefing to the acceptance.
• As a sparring partner for our line, you clarify profiles, reflect the market, and also say when wishes and reality do not match.
• You review dossiers, conduct interviews, evaluate online assessments, and use the results specifically for your conversation management.
• You formulate advertisements so that they suit the target group and do not sound like copy-paste.
• You actively use LinkedIn Recruiter and other channels when suitable applications do not simply come by themselves.
• You keep applicants clean in the process, communicate reliably, and pay attention to a professional Candidate Experience.
• You work together with various offices within the Finanzdirektion and quickly notice: recruiting does not work the same everywhere.
• Regarding recruiting topics alongside daily business, you lend a hand when things are urgent or something needs to be pushed forward.

Your profile ###

• Recruiting is not new territory for you. You bring sound experience in in-house recruiting and have training at least at the level of Fachausweis.
• You are fit in Active Sourcing and know how to specifically find and approach suitable talents.
• You advise managers clearly, reliably, and at eye level. Even when the desired profile, market, and time pressure do not quite match.
• Multiple parallel recruitments, changing priorities, and different stakeholder groups do not easily throw you off concept.
• You work quickly, structured, and pragmatically, without losing sight of quality and the Candidate Experience.
• Different offices, working methods, and cultures make the task exciting for you. You find your way around quickly and adapt situationally.
• You bring assertiveness, but remain professional, solution-oriented, and close to the people.
• You use digital recruiting tools, SAP SuccessFactors, LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar systems confidently or find your way around them quickly.
• You communicate clearly, confidently, and in a manner appropriate to the target group in German.
