For our «Lager und Transporte» team of the Logistics department, we are looking for energetic support as of 1 April 2027 or by arrangement.

Logistics Specialist / Driver

Schutz & Rettung Zürich (SRZ), as a service department of the Security Department, combines the professional and militia fire brigade, medical services, and the Emergency Dispatch Center (ELZ) for the emergency numbers 144 and 118. Furthermore, civil protection, fire police, and a training center with an attached Higher Vocational School for Rescue Professions (HFRB) belong to the largest civilian rescue organization in Switzerland. Intervention and prevention units protect and rescue people, animals, material assets, and the environment around the clock in the city of Zürich, at Zürich Airport, and in the agglomeration.

Tasks

• Carrying out various transports with the truck as well as with articulated vehicles/semi-trailers of categories C, CE, B and BE
• Inventory in the main and secondary warehouses as well as cleaning work on the vehicles
• Management of goods receipt/goods issue as well as the rental warehouse using the ERP warehouse management system SAP

Profile

• Completed apprenticeship as a Logistics Specialist, Road Transport Specialist, or in another technical profession
• Mandatory driving license Cat. C & BE (CE additionally an advantage)
• Some years of professional practice as a driver or in the warehouse as well as good geographical knowledge in the city of Zürich
• Independent, exact way of working, high service orientation as well as physical resilience and teamwork skills
• Good communication skills in German (oral/written) as well as good user knowledge of MS-Office / M365
