Counselor for victims of human trafficking 80-90%

The FiZ Fachstelle Frauenhandel und Frauenmigration is an independent, confessionally neutral non-governmental organization with around 40 employees. It advocates for the protection and rights of migrants affected by violence and exploitation. To this end, it operates the counseling center for female migrants and the specialized victim protection program for victims of human trafficking. Furthermore, FIZ trains professionals and interested circles on the backgrounds of human trafficking and female migration. In addition, it performs political work at the municipal, national, and international levels. Our work is feminist and anti-racist. We are looking for, starting from September 2026 or by arrangement, a: Counselor for victims of human trafficking 80-90 % Your tasks are • Psychosocial and social-pedagogical support of the residents individually and in the group during everyday coexistence, everyday activities, and integration • Crisis intervention, stabilization, and promotion of conflict management skills • You are responsible for one (of several) locations (design, further development such as maintenance of infrastructure, security measures, key person work for the resident clients both on an individual level and in coexistence with the other clients, leading individual and group discussions) • Close cooperation in the care team as well as with the case-managing counselors • Assumption of various shifts according to the duty roster: Early from 08h - 16h30 / Late from 12h - 20h / On-call: 20h-08h from home (1x per week and night shift 20-8h on-site in case of emergencies or admissions). Additionally, approximately once a month telephone service (on-call backup) as professional support for the weekend team You bring with you • Dipl. Pflegefachperson HF, ideally psychiatric nursing, social pedagogy or in a comparable field • Professional experience in practical work with people affected by violence and traumatized • Very good German skills • High social competence and self-reflection, flexibility, resilience, and ability to work in a team • Feminist and migration policy engagement • Personal migration experience is very welcome Advantageous • Experience in working with people with addiction experience and/or psychological strain • Foreign language skills • Life experience • Experience in crisis interventions We offer • A very challenging, varied activity in an intercultural, interdisciplinary, motivated, and supportive team • Regular intervision and supervision as well as continuing education • An entry annual salary at 100% between 87'000.- and 97'000.- depending on age • Above-average social benefits • 40-hour week, 6 weeks vacation, from the age of 50, 7 weeks We know that job advertisements can often be intimidating, especially for people with experiences of discrimination.
