We are looking for a Construction Manager (w/m/d) 80 - 100% in the field of structural and civil engineering towards infrastructure facilities (industrial sector) for our Building Technology division in Zürich or Frauenfeld, effective immediately or by arrangement. Your area of responsibility Construction management and site management On-site construction management and coordination of the companies involved in construction Control and monitoring of construction execution from realization to handover Ensuring professional, economical, and high-quality execution Active site presence and coordination of all participants during the execution phase Checking contractor invoices as well as handing over construction documentation Schedule, cost, and quality control Creation and monitoring of schedules Ongoing cost control and support with project cost accounting Checking and approval of reports, delivery notes, and hourly work (Regiearbeiten) Quality controls, acceptances, and defect management Ensuring occupational safety according to SUVA and EKAS specifications Documentation of construction progress using a site diary and photo documentation Communication and coordination Organization and management of construction meetings including minutes taking Coordination between the client, planners, contractors, and authorities Close cooperation with the project management Early identification and escalation of risks and deviations Your profile Professional qualifications Degree as a Dipl. Bauleiter*in HFP or Dipl. Techniker*in HF-Bauplanung or an adequate education Several years of experience as a construction or project manager, preferably from industrial, civil, or structural engineering in Switzerland Experience in construction cost planning, calculation, scheduling, contract management, and tenders (Devisierung) Familiarity with industry-standard software packages for construction management (Messerli BAUAD, MS-Office, MS-Project) Technical knowledge of construction products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards Personal competencies Strong leadership and assertive personality Independent and structured way of working High resilience and willingness to take responsibility Strong communication skills when dealing with clients, contractors, and specialist planners Solution-oriented, team player, and decisive Language competence German: C2 - Native speaker level Driver's license Cat.
