Senior Specialist - Stakeholder Engagement, Communications and Digital Initiatives

This Senior Specialist supports the Vice President in advancing ETH Zürich's priorities in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, innovation, and emerging technologies, with particular responsibility for stakeholder engagement, project coordination and communications. This role includes monitoring developments in these areas, coordinating the stakeholders involved in related projects and initiatives, and ensuring internal and external partners. It also ensures that these activities and their outcomes are communicated effectively to both internal and external audiences.

Focusing on specific projects, the Senior Specialist maintains relationships with key stakeholders and coordinates their involvement across initiatives, managing engagement and follow-up, to keep projects on track. Communications, including narrative development and content for the VP's external engagements, is an integral part of the role.

Aufgaben-/Stellenbeschreibung
Drive selected initiatives in AI, digital transformation, and emerging technologies, from design through delivery
Coordinate cross-functional projects, keeping timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders aligned
Manage relationships with key stakeholders across academia, industry, government, philanthropy, and international partners
Coordinate engagement activities and follow-up
Prepare analyses and briefing materials to support decision-making on key initiatives
Draft speeches, talking points, briefing notes, and articles, and support the VP's public appearances and thought leadership
Develop presentations, storylines, and background materials for leadership meetings, conferences, and public events
Oversee and contribute to the visibility and positioning of the VP's and VPWW's activities, partnerships, and initiatives

Ihr Profil
10+ years of experience in stakeholder relations and partnerships, connecting business, government and community stakeholders
Proven track record in managing a portfolio of key accounts
Comfortable operating in cross-border, multicultural, and multilingual environments
Experience from an academic environment is a plus
Excellent writing skills; able to translate complex topics into clear speeches, talking points, and articles
Genuine interest in AI, digital transformation, innovation, and emerging technologies
Independent, structured, and discreet, with sound judgement in a fast-moving environment
Proficient English and German
