We are looking for a hosting personality for our client, an established gastronomy company with Italian-influenced cuisine and several successful restaurant operations in Switzerland. For a central, lively restaurant location, an entrepreneurially minded leadership personality is now being sought, who will successfully develop the establishment with passion, a sense of quality and a hosting mentality. Managing Director ### #### Tasks & Challenges • Overall responsibility for the operational and strategic management of the restaurant • Positioning and further development of the business in the local market • Ensuring a first-class guest experience and consistent quality control of the offering • Leadership, motivation and development of a team of around 20 to 30 people • Planning and steering the economic performance as well as ensuring sustainable profitability • Optimization of workflows, organization and processes throughout the entire operation • Responsibility for personnel planning, recruitment and employee development • Cultivation of an open, appreciative team culture and role model function in everyday operations • Promotion of wine and enjoyment culture as well as advising guests in close cooperation with the service team Qualifications & Competencies • Several years of leadership experience in gastronomy, ideally as Deputy Managing Director or Managing Director of a comparable business • Entrepreneurial thinking with demonstrable successes in the economic management of a restaurant • Valid Wirtepatent (restaurant license) • Pronounced hosting personality with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and service quality • Experience in the leadership, motivation and development of larger teams • Structured, solution-oriented and efficient way of working • Very good German and English skills, further languages such as Italian or French are an advantage • Passion for wine and sound knowledge of Italian wine culture Opportunities & Perspectives In addition to long-term development opportunities within the corporate group, you will benefit from attractive employee benefits, discounts within the gastronomy operations as well as special additional benefits.
