Are you an experienced executive with a passion for real estate? Immediately or by arrangement, we are looking for a committed personality who will lead the Properties department in the area of health, sports, culture, and industrial buildings with foresight and tact.

Tasks

• You lead the department professionally, organizationally, and personally and lead the subordinate property managers.
• You control and coordinate the assignments as well as the financial resources and set priorities in maintenance management.
• You develop and implement strategies and concepts for the real estate holdings – with a focus on value preservation, sustainability, and economic efficiency.
• You manage the sub-portfolios entrusted to you, including multi-year planning, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling.
• You ensure the quality of the relevant real estate data and processes and represent the specialist department in commissions, delegations, and the City Council as required.

Profile

• Higher education and training in the real estate sector, in architecture, or engineering, supplemented by sound business administration knowledge and a good understanding of complex connections in real estate management
• Several years of professional and leadership experience as well as an appreciative, committed leadership style at eye level
• Strategic, conceptual, and solution-oriented way of thinking with the ability to develop viable solutions for demanding issues
• Convincing and audience-appropriate communication as well as the ability to bring different interests together

On behalf of the City Council, we perform the ownership representation and management of around 1950 properties. In the areas of space and infrastructure, we offer numerous services for the municipal administration and advise the departments and the City Council on strategic issues.
