Karl Waechter AG has stood for sanitary and heating installations in the Zurich region for over 100 years. As part of BKW Building Solutions AG, we support private customers, companies, and the public sector from consultation to maintenance with around 50 employees.

Your tasks

• You take overall responsibility for the further development, growth, and the strategic as well as operational direction of our company to ensure success, profitability, and competitiveness.
• You represent our company externally, actively maintain our network, and work the market to acquire new projects. In doing so, you position Karl Waechter AG successfully in the market, identify new business opportunities, and tap into sustainable growth potentials.
• You sustainably expand our customer base, develop long-term customer relationships, and work closely with clients, architects, suppliers, and your team.
• You develop and consistently implement growth strategies.
• You lead projects in the field of heating and sanitary systems (residential construction, commerce & services) and are responsible for all project phases from consultation and planning via budgeting to implementation and completion.

What you bring with you

• You have completed technical or commercial training and ideally have further training in business administration.
• You have several years of leadership experience in an HLKS, building technology, or craft environment as well as demonstrable success in corporate development and employee leadership.
• You have sound knowledge in the HLKS sector as well as in the service and project business, think entrepreneurially, recognize market opportunities, and understand how to successfully combine growth, customer orientation, and economic efficiency.
• You convince with strong communication and leadership skills and are capable of motivating, developing, and leading employees through changes.
• You think entrepreneurially, work analytically and in a structured manner, act in a solution-oriented and decisive way, and are willing to be on the move in the region and accompany projects on-site.
