Field Service Engineer High Voltage

You lead worldwide installation and maintenance assignments on gas-insulated high-voltage switchgear and are responsible for their technical implementation on site.

Tasks

• Leading multicultural construction sites worldwide for gas-insulated switchgear from 110 kV to 550 kV
• Responsibility for installation, maintenance and repair in compliance with contractual deadlines
• Quality control of the work carried out on site and assessment of local assistants
• Conducting product training on site during installation
• Evaluation and minimization of risks
• Coordination and instruction of workers on site
• Cost control of resources and regular reporting to the project management

Profile

• Completed apprenticeship in the metal construction, electrical or automotive industry
• Basic electrotechnical knowledge required, further training an advantage
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the assembly and commissioning sector
• Very good German and good English skills, at least B2
• Willingness for international assignments with up to 80 % travel activity
• Flexible, resilient and communicative team player
