Traction Test Engineer

You develop and implement test strategies for traction systems in the rail sector and ensure high reliability in fleet operations.

Tasks

• Development and implementation of scalable test strategies for traction systems
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams from engineering, production, and quality assurance
• Analysis and ensuring of system reliability through fault diagnosis
• Contribution of new ideas to improve test methods
• Transfer of expertise through training and mentoring

Profile

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or comparable
• At least 3 years of experience in rail technology or test engineering
• Knowledge in test automation and power electronics
• Understanding of safety-critical systems and validation methods
• Structured working method and ability to work in a team

Offer

• 3–6 months interim, then permanent employment
