Senior Manufacturing Engineer

You take a leading engineering role in manufacturing, assembly, integration and testing for a high-tech production environment, covering manufacturability, tooling and process improvement.

Tasks

• Plan, coordinate and review project work in Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration & Testing
• Act as the MAIT interface to project management and report manufacturing status
• Own the integration and alignment concept and associated tooling development
• Support design for manufacturability and design-to-cost, attending design reviews
• Perform manufacturability reviews of part drawings, assembly drawings and bill of material
• Drive troubleshooting in production and act as first point of contact for technicians
• Lead industrialization efforts for new products and processes

Profile

• University degree or technical college degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar
• 7-10+ years of hands-on engineering experience in a complex manufacturing setting
• Experience ideally in the space or aerospace sector
• Hands-on mentality with a customer- and product-oriented mindset
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Offer

• 3–6 months interim, then a permanent position
