Specialist in Childcare School Scherr, 10 %

We are looking for reinforcement as of 01.10.2026 or by arrangement.

Tasks ##

As a specialist in childcare, you are responsible for the pedagogical management of the morning care from 7:00 - 8:00 AM, 5 days per week. You work together with a pedagogical childcare assistant. You take your holidays during the school holiday periods.

Your tasks include:

• Co-shaping the school-based care and leisure activities of the children
• Leading large groups of children, as well as parental contacts
• Housekeeping and administrative work

Profile ##

• Completed apprenticeship as Fachfrau/Fachmann Betreuung or Kleinkindererzieher/in EFZ mandatory
• For applications with a foreign diploma, a Swiss diploma recognition must be mandatorily attached.
• Professional experience in the care of children (after-school care, nursery, home)
• Enjoyment of collaborating with teaching and childcare staff
• Flexible, motivated and balanced personality, who enjoys interacting with people of different cultures, as well as readiness for interdisciplinary cooperation within the school team
• Good German language skills

The Tagesschule Scherr is located in the Oberstrass district and includes a morning table, lunch/evening care offers or the Open Restaurant. At the Schule Scherr, up to 250 children are cared for on peak days. Our goal is to bring the children together into a community based on mutual respect, independence and personal responsibility. Our pedagogical attitude is oriented towards the concept of "New Authority" according to Haim Omer.
