July 2027 or by arrangement The PH Zürich actively shapes education, school, and instruction of today and tomorrow in teaching and research. The Secondary Level I department is responsible for the training of teachers at Secondary Level I. It currently offers four degree programs at the Master's level as well as subject extensions that convey professional competencies for teaching activities at the secondary level. We are looking for a motivated and committed leadership personality with excellent communicative, conceptual, and organizational skills for the Education and Upbringing division in the Secondary Level I department. The position comprises approximately 45% in division management and 45% in teaching. What you will do. Personnel, technical, financial, and organizational management of the Education and Upbringing division (10 employees) including personnel development Co-responsibility for the curricular further development of the degree programs at the department level Networked and cooperative cooperation with other departments as well as other service areas of the PH Zürich Higher education didactic conception of teaching-learning arrangements for students Development, preparation, implementation, and follow-up of teaching courses Participation in the creation, implementation, and evaluation of competency proofs and (diploma) examinations as well as supervision of Master's theses Participation in interdisciplinary working groups as well as in subject development What you bring with you. Master's degree in Educational Science or Psychology with a focus on Educational Psychology, preferably with a doctorate Teaching diploma at Secondary Level I as well as several years of teaching experience at the target level or an adjacent level Several years of experience in the training of Secondary Level I teachers and/or higher education didactic experience Leadership experience or project management experience in the field of research and development Conceptual, planning, and organizational skills High readiness for the curricular further development of the Secondary Level I degree programs Modern understanding of leadership in the context of an expert organization What will inspire you.
