Senior Project Manager Digital Projects 100% # Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! Together with the municipal tax offices, the cantonal tax office collects taxes for the Confederation, the Canton, and the municipalities. We support private individuals and companies throughout the entire tax collection process. For this purpose, around 800 qualified employees are engaged at the location in Zürich Altstetten. In the coming years, the tax system of the Canton will be characterized by several significant digitalization projects. For successful implementation, we are further expanding our team in Digital Services and are looking for several Senior IT Project Managers to drive complex projects forward together with specialist departments, IT, and municipalities. Your tasks ### • You lead demanding and complex digital and IT projects with a high technology component - from the idea to successful implementation - and ensure compliance with deadlines, budget, and quality standards. • You structure requirements together with specialist departments, develop viable concepts, and shape initial ideas into concrete project mandates. • Together with partners from the Canton, municipalities, Confederation, and the private sector, you design future-proof IT solution architectures and align them with long-term goals. • You lead interdisciplinary project teams in a matrix organization and manage your projects according to HERMES, supplemented by agile methods where appropriate. • When it counts, you go into depth, structure complex issues, and drive projects forward operationally. Your profile ### • You have several years of demonstrable experience in leading complex projects and line management with high responsibility for results - ideally in large-scale projects with million-dollar budgets. • You bring sound IT understanding and are familiar with interfaces, databases, and integration architectures. • You have a university degree (Master's) in computer science, economics, management, or a comparable field. • Advantageously, you have project management certifications such as HERMES, IPMA, Scrum, or SAFe, or you have the willingness to undergo corresponding further training. • Knowledge of the tax system is a plus - or you are interested in acquiring it. • You have very good German skills and appear convincing and confident. You move securely between different stakeholder groups, make well-founded decisions, and bring entrepreneurial thinking as well as the necessary perseverance to successfully drive complex endeavors forward.
