Technical Product Manager & Head of Drive Technology (m/f/d)

• City of Zürich / Lake Zürich Products. Innovation. Responsibility. Our client is a Swiss trading company in the field of drive technology on the left shore of Lake Zürich. Its customers include companies from the Swiss mechanical engineering industry, which are supplied with everything from individual pieces to medium-sized series. In a small team of five employees, you will take responsibility for your own product projects, analyze markets, accompany market launches, and further develop the product portfolio in the field of drive technology together with the team.   Technical Product Manager & Head of Drive Technology (m/f/d) Your area of responsibility • You lead a small team technically and personally and develop it further. • You are responsible for the drive technology product portfolio and lead your own projects from the idea to implementation. • You analyze markets, applications, and trends and identify new opportunities and potentials. • You are in direct exchange with customers and business partners and find suitable technical and commercial solutions together with them. • You prepare offers and conduct price, condition, and contract negotiations. • You maintain existing supplier relationships, develop them further, and build new partnerships as needed. • You create product and marketing documents and train the sales force on products, applications, and their benefits.   What you bring with you • Technical basic training, e.g., Polymechaniker EFZ, Automatiker EFZ or comparable, with further training at HF level • Experience in technical purchasing, sales, or a comparable technical function • Initial leadership experience and enjoyment of responsibility for a small team • Independent, structured way of working and networked thinking • Enjoyment of customer contact and technically demanding topics • Very good German and good English skills, French is an advantage • Natural, sympathetic personality with a convincing and motivating appearance   What awaits you • An exciting and varied activity with a lot of personal responsibility • Independent work and space for your own ideas • 40-hour week, 25 vacation days as well as 7 cantonal holidays • Freshly cooked lunch in the in-house company canteen • Free parking spaces and good connections to public transport   Interested?
